Who we are and how to contact us

Internet of Things Consulting, referred to here as IOFT Consulting, “IOFT,” “we,” or “us,” provides business technology consulting. This policy describes how we handle information through our website, contact forms, and related communications.

For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected], call +1 323-604-9870, or write to 453 South Spring Street, Suite 400 PMB1045, Los Angeles, California 90013, United States.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, business details, and the contents of your inquiry. If you choose to receive text messages, we also record your consent choices and related messaging history.

Our website and its service providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, visited pages, referring pages, timestamps, and security logs. Please do not include passwords, payment-card information, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information in the general inquiry form.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, discuss requested services, provide support, coordinate work, maintain business records, honor communication preferences, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. Submitting an inquiry does not enter you into a service contract.

We use your phone number for text messaging only within the scope of your consent or another applicable legal permission. Providing a phone number by itself is not agreement to receive marketing texts.

Service providers and other disclosures

We use providers for website hosting, contact forms, customer relationship management, communications, and security. HighLevel/LeadConnector operates the embedded contact form and related customer communication tools. These providers process information to perform services for us. Website resources may also be delivered by hosting and font providers, which receive technical information needed to serve those resources.

Information may be disclosed when legally required, to address fraud or security incidents, or to protect legal rights. If a business reorganization affects personal information, applicable privacy protections continue to apply. The restrictions on mobile information and SMS consent below apply to these disclosures as well.

Mobile information and SMS consent

We do not disclose mobile information to third parties or affiliates for their advertising or promotional use. Providers supporting customer service or message delivery may process it only for those support purposes. SMS opt-in records and consent are excluded from other sharing arrangements and are not provided to others for their independent use.

Our inquiry form offers an optional SMS consent checkbox that is not selected by default. Choosing not to receive texts does not prevent you from contacting us or purchasing services. For message types, rates, cancellation, and assistance, see the SMS terms.

Cookies, local storage, and embedded services

The website may store your display-theme preference in your browser. Hosting, security, and embedded form services may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the website working, maintain a form session, prevent abuse, and remember applicable consent choices. Their handling of data is also subject to their own notices.

You can use browser settings to restrict or remove cookies and site data; some features may stop working. Where a cookie-preference control is presented, you can use it to manage the categories it offers. SMS consent is a separate choice from cookie preferences. Any optional advertising or measurement technologies introduced to the site must be described and managed in accordance with applicable law.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. Depending on your location and which laws apply to IOFT, additional rights may include a copy of your information, restrictions on certain processing, an appeal of a request decision, or opting out of a sale, sharing for targeted advertising, or certain profiling. We will honor rights that apply to your request and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising them.

California residents may request information about applicable privacy rights and disclosures by contacting us at the address above. An authorized agent may contact us on your behalf where permitted by law. We may need to verify identity and authority before disclosing or changing information. We may retain information when needed to comply with law, resolve disputes, or honor an opt-out.

Communication preferences

Reply STOP to a text message to opt out, or contact us for assistance. Reply HELP for messaging support. Marketing email recipients can use the unsubscribe link in those emails. An email unsubscribe does not automatically change a separate SMS preference, or vice versa. We may keep limited suppression records so that your choice continues to be respected.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, considering the nature of an inquiry or relationship, recordkeeping obligations, disputes, security needs, and consent or opt-out records. We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children and international visitors

This business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so that we can investigate and address it. Our SMS program is for people aged 18 or older.

Our business and providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate. Privacy protections may differ from those in your location; applicable legal requirements continue to govern that processing.

Updates

We may update this policy as our website or practices change. The date on this page identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice where required by law.
